Simple terms for a simple product

Terms of Service

Effective date: April 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of ScanMyAppointment, a product of Polehn Technologies, LLC. By accessing or using the website or services, you agree to these terms.

Use of the service

You may use ScanMyAppointment only for lawful business or personal purposes. You agree not to misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, or use it in a manner that violates applicable law or regulations.

No guarantee of calendar app behavior

ScanMyAppointment generates calendar-related files and QR codes designed for convenience. Because third-party devices, cameras, browsers, and calendar applications behave differently, we do not guarantee identical import behavior, reminder handling, or compatibility across all devices or services.

Subscriptions and paid features

Certain features may require a paid plan. Subscription billing, renewals, and payment processing may be handled by third-party providers such as Stripe. Paid access may continue until canceled according to the billing terms presented at checkout.

Customer responsibility

You are responsible for the content and accuracy of appointment details you enter, the way you use printed or digital reminder materials, and your compliance with any privacy, healthcare, records, or business obligations that apply to your organization.

No medical, legal, or regulatory advice

ScanMyAppointment is a workflow and appointment utility tool. It does not provide medical, legal, compliance, tax, or regulatory advice.

Availability

We may update, improve, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

Intellectual property

The ScanMyAppointment website, branding, design, and software are owned by Polehn Technologies, LLC except where third-party components or services apply. You may not copy, resell, reverse engineer, or exploit the service beyond permitted use.

Disclaimers

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted performance.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Polehn Technologies, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for loss of business, revenue, data, appointments, or goodwill arising from use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if the service is misused, if payment obligations are not met, or if continued access creates legal, technical, or security risk.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Updated terms will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
